Carlos is one of the most widely screened Basque artists in Spain. After studying drums and percussion at the San Sebastian Conservatory, and playing in two or three local groups, he became a member of Bide Ertzean from 1998 to 2017. During this time, Carlos has worked with artists such as Gari, Elkano Browning Cream, Joserra Senperena, Petti, Iván Ferreiro, Alex Ubago, Duncan Dhu, Amaia Montero and Quique Gonzalez.

He is currently working with Rulo y la Contrabanda, Mikel Erentxun, Elena Setien and Don Inorrez, a group of artists that Arancegui works with and whose collaborations are numerous (Marilia, Txetxu Altube, Maider Zabalegi…).
